What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to tell website owners how their site is being used. This policy explains which cookies we use on nextstepfp.co.uk, what each one does, and how you can change your mind at any time. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
The first time you visit our site, we ask you which cookies you are happy for us to use.
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always on — the site cannot function without them, and the law does not require your consent for these. Everything else is off until you say otherwise.
You can change your choices whenever you like using the cookie settings link in our footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Your preferences are saved in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so if you clear your browsing data we will ask you again on your next visit.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. These make the site work — keeping it secure, telling humans apart from bots and making sure our forms submit properly. Without them, parts of the site would not function.
Analyticscookies. These tell us how many people visit, whichpages they read and how they found us. We use this to work out what is usefuland what is not. The information is aggregated, and we do not use it toidentify individual visitors.
Bookingcookies. Our appointment booking tool sets cookieswhen you use it, so that your booking works properly across pages.
We do not currently use advertising ortargeting cookies, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with advertisingnetworks. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consentfirst.
Cookie table
Our cookie banner is provided by Silktide (silktide.com). It does not set any cookies — your preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us or to Silktide.

Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by other organisations rather than by us — Google and our booking provider, for example. We do not control these cookies, and you should read those organisations’ own privacy information if you want to know more:
• Google Analytics — policies.google.com/privacy
• Calendly — calendly.com/privacy
• FlowAppz, who provide our cookie consent banner — flowappz.com/privacy-policy
Where we embed content from another site, such as a map or a video, that content may also set cookies. We only load embedded content of this kind once you have accepted the relevant cookies.
Controlling cookies through your browser
As well as our cookie settings, you can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing ones or warn you before one is set. The Help menu in your browser will explain how.
Bear in mind that if you block all cookies, including the strictly necessary ones, parts of our site may not work properly.
You can also find independent guidance at ico.org.uk and allaboutcookies.org.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever we add or remove a cookie. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
